Not My Theory, But It Has Interesting Images

In this post I’m mainly just gathering images from this site: https://asteroidimpactmythology.nz/essay/. The author thinks the Squatterman-type images originated from the appearance of meteorite impacts in large bodies of water. On the contrary, I think they derived from plasma apparitions at magnetic poles in the sky, as Marinus van der Sluijs theorized. However, it’s plausible that some ancient images derive from impact appearances, so maybe some of the following images do derive from that.
