GLYPHOSATE & GLUFOSINATE
And Their Breakdown Products
I read that glyphosate can cause heart and brain problems, so I’m looking for good info on detoxing from such herbicides. The half-life of glyphosate and glufosinate are said to be rather short, weeks or a few months, but the breakdown products they turn into last quite a bit longer and are still toxic. Then I skimmed over this post: Glyphosate: a low toxicity herbicide is the target of a highly toxic disinformation campaign, which indicates that the amount of these herbicides on food is so tiny as to be insignificant. I think it said glyphosate is used at the rate of 24 ounces per acre. It’s used when crops are planted, but often also when crops mature. It’s when they mature that the application is likely to be most harmful. But if it’s still applied at only 24 ounces per acre, it may indeed be too tiny an amount to be significant. So that’s what I still need to determine: if that tiny amount is nonetheless significantly toxic.
